Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with earthwork, grading, underground utilities, paving, site development or municipal/DOT projects.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specs, and documentation.
• Effective communication with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day management of heavy civil projects.
• Assist with project schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and documentation.
• Review plans, specs, drawings, and contract documents.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, owners, and field personnel.
• Track project progress and help maintain schedules.
• Support quantity take-offs, material procurement, and forecasting.
• Attend meetings and maintain strong stakeholder communication.
• Assist with project closeout and final documentation.
• Work with field teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant project delivery.
