Job summary

Metric Geo has partnered with a client to hire an experienced Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate heavy civil and infrastructure projects across the region. You will ensure goals are met within schedule and budget, drawing on a track record of large regional projects.

In this role you will oversee budgets, schedules, and cost reporting, coordinating subcontractors and field teams, and reviewing change orders, RFIs, and submittals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling and cost control software (e.g., Primavera P6, Excel).
• Experience with public agency work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from award through closeout, including budgets, schedules, and cost reporting.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to keep work on track.
• Review and process change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, engineers, and agency representatives.
• Chair project meetings and report progress to senior leadership monthly.
• Mentor project engineers and support staff development.
