Job summary

Metric Geo, a leading contractor, seeks an experienced Project Engineer to manage projects from buyout through closeout in the New York area. You will support planning, field operations, and contract compliance while ensuring schedules, budgets, and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include tracking billings and cash flow, reviewing drawings and specs, coordinating with QA/QC, and ensuring work meets codes and drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in civil engineering or construction management.
• Strong background in heavy civil construction and project controls.
• Proficient in MS Office and project software.

This role supports project planning, field operations, and contract compliance while ensuring schedules, budgets, and safety standards are met.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of heavy civil construction experience, including projects >$100M.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Procore, Primavera P6, or similar software.
