Job summary

Gilbane in Orlando, FL is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project team by obtaining, evaluating, coordinating, and distributing project information to maintain schedule, budget, and quality. You will work closely with project managers and field teams, applying your degree and 4+ years of experience with large trade contractors.

Procore and CMiC familiarity, OSHA 30-hour certification, and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4+ years of experience with a large trade contractor, construction management or GC.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• CM/PM knowledge and experience on construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manages the change management process under the direction of the Project Manager.
• Participates in monthly cost report meetings with data and talking points.
• Adheres to project controls including cost reporting and pay applications.
• Expedites material deliveries.
• Reviews shop drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Mentors less experienced team members and promotes collaboration.
• Supports a positive and inclusive work environment.
