Insight Global is seeking a Project Engineer to join its IG Consulting team within the Applied Engineering Services practice in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on ensuring grid reliability and compliance by managing interconnection projects in the SPP region, coordinating with developers, Evergreen, and SPP to accelerate study timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• Ability to read and understand single line diagrams.
• Understanding of basic power systems.
• Strong communication skills to interface with customers.
• Technologically savvy and quick to learn.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between developers, SPP, and the interconnection team to keep projects on track.
• Oversee generation projects through the study process and manage developer requests over multiple years.
• Ensure accurate information is presented to Evergreen, SPP, and developers.
• Coordinate timelines, deadlines, and KPIs across projects.
