Job summary

Uprite Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients to keep projects organized and moving forward in Irvine, California. You will support projects from preconstruction through closeout, gaining experience across both the field and project management sides of construction.

Responsibilities include coordinating RFIs, submittals, reviews, meetings, and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Prior internship or Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager experience with a general contractor is a plus.
Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with day-to-day project coordination.
Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change documentation, and project correspondence.
Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and internal project teams.
Maintain project logs and ensure outstanding items are completed.
