Job summary

Uprite Construction Corp. is seeking a Project Engineer to support project execution from preconstruction through closeout. This role emphasizes coordination, documentation, and maintaining momentum in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.

The Project Engineer will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents, serving as a strong entry point for long-term growth within the company and gaining exposure to ground-up and commercial projects in Texas.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of construction experience or internship
• Experience with ground up construction and commercial construction
• Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software

Responsibilities

• Support RFIs, submittals, and change order processes to keep projects moving forward
• Maintain organized project documentation and ensure accurate file management
• Assist with scheduling coordination and tracking project milestones
• Review drawings and specifications to help identify scope and potential issues
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors regarding deliverables and timelines
• Track procurement activities and help ensure materials arrive on schedule
• Support cost tracking, commitments, and basic budget reporting
• Attend project meetings and communicate updates to internal teams
• Assist with project closeout documentation and punch list tracking
