Job summary

Uprite Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of ground up commercial and industrial construction projects throughout Southern California. You will work closely with Project Managers and field teams to coordinate documentation, scheduling, procurement, subcontractors, and project communication from preconstruction through closeout.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience with a general contractor as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar role.
• Experience supporting ground up commercial construction projects.
• Industrial construction experience including warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or similar facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with day-to-day management of commercial/industrial construction projects.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
• Coordinate material procurement and track long lead items to support schedules.
• Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
• Review drawings and specs for completeness and accuracy.
