Job summary

Broadmoor LLC in Baton Rouge is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Project Management team. The role focuses on supporting day-to-day project operations, contract administration, procurement, document control, scheduling, and coordination with field operations from startup through closeout.

This position offers hands-on commercial construction experience, exposure to multiple projects in the Baton Rouge area, and a path toward a long-term career with an established Louisiana contractor.

Qualifications

• Education - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience - 1+ year in project management, field supervision, estimating, or preconstruction for commercial GC or subcontractor.
• Construction knowledge - Familiarity with planning, scheduling, estimating and commercial construction trades.
• Technology - Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with construction PM, estimating and scheduling software.
• Business skills - Strong budgeting, financial analysis, and interpersonal skills.
• Regional commitment - Ability to work from and support projects in Baton Rouge with travel to regional sites.

Responsibilities

• Supports project management in day-to-day technical and administrative operations.
• Assists with contract administration, procurement, document control, and scheduling.
• Contributes to financial and risk management, quality control, and coordination with field operations from startup to closeout.
• Reports to the assigned Project Manager with no direct reports.
