Job summary

Gilbane is seeking a Project Engineer in Rhode Island to coordinate project information, support the project team, and help maintain schedule, budget, and quality targets. The role focuses on change management, cost reporting, and collaboration across stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, 4+ years in a large trade contractor or GC, OSHA 30-hour certification, and strong skills in Procore and CMiC.

Responsibilities

• Manages the change management process under the Project Manager
• Supports monthly cost report meetings with data points
• Adheres to monthly cost control, pay requests, and cost reporting
• Expedites material deliveries
• Reviews shop drawings for accuracy
• Mentors less experienced team members
• Fosters an inclusive work environment
• Identifies client needs and communicates Gilbane value to prospects
