Job summary

Gly Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support seamless project delivery in Bellevue, WA. You will collaborate with project managers, superintendents and trade partners through procurement, planning, and closeout, helping to solve daily challenges and grow technical leadership.

The role emphasizes teamwork, risk mitigation, and adherence to GLY best practices while delivering high-quality results across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Construction Management or Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Structural, etc.) or related field of study.
• 2+ years project engineering experience with a General Contractor that self-performs work; interior Special Projects experience counts.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD; knowledge of REVIT, Sketch-Up and PlanGrid, Smartsheet and ERP software (e.g. CMiC) a plus.
• Other specialized experience or accreditations preferred (e.g. LEED, DBIA, EIT).
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work well with others.
• Adaptive and able to work under pressure, open to learning and new ideas.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and manage project engineering workload; apply problem-solving and critical thinking to daily tasks.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants and team members.
• Manage procurement/submittal process for assigned scope to meet the project schedule.
• Mitigate risks related to schedule, labor, materials and installation.
• Develop details or alternate methods to resolve issues and coordinate with field leaders.
• Monitor QA/QC and participate in project meetings; distribute accurate minutes.
