Job summary

GLY Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to guide project teams, design partners, and subcontractors through the construction lifecycle. You will drive constructability reviews, resolve challenges, and deliver actionable field plans while mentoring Project Engineers and coordinating schedules for timely trade integration.

You will work closely with field leaders to adhere to the project schedule, manage budgets, and ensure seamless collaboration across design teams and field

Qualifications

• 3-6+ years project engineering experience with a general contractor that self-performs work.
• GC/CM and Design Build experience is desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with field supervisors, clients, subcontractors, consultants, and team members.
• Lead, manage and mentor other Project Engineers.
• Coordinate schedules and ensure timely trade integration with field leaders.
• Develop detailed work packages with VDC/BIM.
• Review cost, labor, and monthly job costs.
