Job summary

Findorff & Son, Inc in College Station, TX seeks a Project Engineer Co-op for Spring/Summer 2027 or Summer/Fall 2027. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on experience across construction phases from preconstruction through closeout, with exposure to PM, field ops, preconstruction, and MEP teams.

You'll support project teams with RFIs and submittals, coordinate meetings, assist with estimating, support field operations, and learn project systems like Bluebeam and Procore while building

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
• Ability to work both independently and with a team; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with RFIs, submittals, document control, and project communications.
• Coordinate with team meetings, take minutes, assist with short-term planning, and liaise with field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Assist in preconstruction and estimating activities including quantity takeoffs and subcontractor outreach.
• Support field operations with material coordination, progress photos, safety walks, quality assurance, and punch list activities.
• Learn project systems and tools like Bluebeam and Procore while updating documents and tracking submittals.
