Job summary

Findorff is seeking a Project Engineer Co-op in Ann Arbor, MI for Spring/Summer 2027 or Summer/Fall 2027. The role offers hands-on experience across preconstruction through project closeout, exposure to PM, field operations, Preconstruction, and MEP teams, and mentorship from experienced professionals.

You'll support project teams with RFIs and submittals, coordinate meetings, assist with takeoffs and basic estimating, and use Bluebeam and Procore to manage documents and progress tracking.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Support RFIs, submittals, document control, and project communication.
• Participate in meetings, take minutes, assist short-term planning, coordinate with field staff.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs, bid packages, subcontractor outreach, and basic estimating.
• Support field operations with material coordination, progress photos, safety walks, and QA.
• Use Bluebeam and Procore for document updates and tracking.
• Build professional skills through collaboration with teams, clients, and trade partners.
