Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Engineer (Civil/Environmental) to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project. Join a multidisciplinary team delivering one of the nation’s landmark infrastructure programs with emphasis on hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater management.

The role involves coordinating design reviews, supporting construction, and ensuring compliance with federal/state permits. A PE license is preferred, and 5–10 years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license in NJ or NY preferred.
• 5-10 years of civil, water resources, or environmental engineering experience.
• Experience with hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater, and large infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in BIM, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, PMIS, and GIS tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design reviews and resolve technical issues.
• Support construction, review submittals, and monitor milestones.
• Coordinate design change documentation and interface management.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly project reports including safety and environmental status.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
