Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project, a pivotal initiative enhancing Northeast Corridor mobility. The role involves overseeing construction activities and ensuring compliance while maintaining project schedules and budgets.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 15 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in geotechnical design software. The position offers a competitive salary range of $195,000 – $265,000 along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of related experience in construction contract administration.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain PE registration in New Jersey preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and engineering inspection responsibilities.
• Conduct technical reviews of construction plans and project changes.
• Ensure staff safety and compliance with regulations.
• Monitor contractor performance and schedule adherence.

Skills

Proficiency with geotechnical design programs

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
