Arcadis is looking for a Senior Resident Engineer for the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project in New York City. This pivotal role involves overseeing construction activities, technical reviews, and ensuring regulatory compliance on a project critical to regional connectivity.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, have at least 15 years of relevant experience, and be proficient with geotechnical design programs. The position offers a competitive salary range of $195,000 - $265,000, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 15 years of related experience in construction contract administration.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain PE registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and inspection responsibilities.
• Conduct technical reviews of construction plans.
• Ensure staff safety and regulatory compliance.

Skills

Proficiency with geotechnical design programs

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education
