Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project, coordinating field operations and multidisciplinary teams to deliver this major infrastructure initiative. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to schedule and budget on a high-profile project affecting vast regional mobility.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil Engineering or related degree, TBM experience, and strong project management skills to lead complex tunneling activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience with Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) is required.
• Tunneling experience with pressurized face TBM mining, precast concrete segmental lining, and cross passage construction.
• Strong project management and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of safety standards, regulations, and best practices in tunneling operations.
