Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP). You will manage field operations, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure safety, quality, and budget adherence for one of the nation's largest infrastructure programs.

As a Delivery Partner to the Gateway Development Commission, you will contribute to a transformative two-track tunnel project beneath the Hudson River, serving Amtrak and NJ TRANSIT, and shaping regional mobility and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience with Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs).
• Tunneling experience including pressurized face TBM mining, segmental lining, cross passage construction.
• Excellent project management skills coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations in tunneling operations.
