Job Responsibilities
  • Manage production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with the project manager on research, development, calculations, design, and delivery tasks.
  • Apply engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria for projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Address design-related issues using technical knowledge and experience, working closely with the project manager and clients.
  • Develop conceptual and detailed designs and calculations using current tools, programs, and software.
  • Mentor, train, and review work of junior engineers, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to successful project delivery for a diverse range of projects.
What You'll Do
  • Plan and distribute discipline-specific work, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget.
  • Assist in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
  • Develop scope of work and level of effort for projects within discipline.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of the project team's work within the technical discipline.
  • Coordinate technical aspects with clients and teaming partners.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 6 years of relevant experience, or
  • Master’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or
  • PhD with 4 years of relevant experience.
What You'll Bring
  • Understanding of impacts of decisions on technical design and work planning.
  • Effective work planning and design coordination across disciplines.
  • Ability to prepare high-quality deliverables on time and within scope.
What We Prefer
  • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
  • 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
