Job summary

Lloyd Companies Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support Senior Project Managers on multi-family and commercial construction projects. You will evaluate quotes, assist with vendor proposals, and prepare cost analyses while coordinating with internal teams and external clients.

The role requires reading blueprints, strong cost-tracking skills, and the ability to manage procurement and shop drawing processes under tight deadlines. This is a hands-on, deadline-driven on-site position.

Qualifications

• Experience with construction projects, especially multi-family or commercial.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specs.
• Strong analytical skills with cost focus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and evaluate quotes for scopes and bid alignment.
• Assist with vendor proposals and scope checks.
• Prepare cost comparisons and analyze subcontractor proposals.
• Draft scopes of work for subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Verify subcontracts and POs are written for active projects.
• Support procurement, shipping plans, and shop drawing coordination.
• Maintain client/vendor records and document control.
