Job summary

Lloyd Companies in Sioux Falls, SD seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the VP of Construction and project managers. You will assemble estimates for commercial and multifamily projects and collaborate with the construction team and clients.

The role requires estimating experience for multi-family and commercial work, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication, cost analysis, and blueprints interpretation skills to deliver accurate proposals and keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Estimating experience with multi-family and/or commercial projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Excellent cost analysis and budgeting skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Create proposals for simple and complex RFPs.
• Evaluate quotes and ensure alignment with bid documents.
• Qualify subcontractor proposals for scope and omissions.
• Maintain client/vendor relationships and records.
• Scan and file subcontractors, quotes and project documents within 24 hours.
• Prepare detailed cost comparisons and take-offs for projects.
• Negotiate Scopes of Work with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure subcontracts and POs are written and entered for active projects.
• Assist in standardizing policies and department procedures.
