Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company seeks an entry-level Project Engineer for its Advanced Facilities Group (AFG). You will support safety, QA/QC, estimating, and on-site tasks across diverse Industrial & Manufacturing projects.

You’ll help prepare reports, manage documents, and assist with procurement and closeout activities from the Kansas City region. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience and a willingness to learn Lean practices and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Entry level construction experience acceptable.
• Willingness to learn safety, QA/QC, and project documentation processes.

Responsibilities

• Learns and participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participates in QA/QC planning for assigned tasks.
• Supports estimating and change management, including take-offs.
• Works on site with the project team to monitor crew, materials, and equipment.
• Participates in punch lists, inspections, safety and quality reviews.
• Posts drawings and specifications with the latest information.
• Organizes project meetings and disseminates documentation.
• Produces daily/weekly reports to support scheduling and progress.
