Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer in Tempe, AZ to assist with on-site construction management, punch lists, and coordination with the project team. The role focuses on learning the building process, applying company standards, and supporting scheduling, QA/QC, and safety practices.

This position offers growth toward Project Engineer 2, exposure to diverse trades, and involvement in reports and daily project activities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Entry level construction experience is acceptable for this role.

Responsibilities

• Support general construction management tasks on site.
• Assist with punch lists, inspections, and documentation.
• Monitor material usage, subcontractor performance, and safety plans.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports and coordinate with project team.
• Liaise with foremen, craft workers, and other trades to maintain schedule.
