Supervisory Responsibilities

Digital Building Components, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking a motivated Project Engineer who will support the Project Management team in overseeing active projects. Responsibilities include supporting design, fabrication, and installation teams throughout the project lifecycle. Specific duties include:

• Review and understand construction contract documents.
• Generate, track, log, and review RFIs.
• Obtain, review, and document project submittals.
• Review and track project ASIs and similar change documentation.
• Schedule, host, and document internal project team meetings.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings and spool sheets across internal teams.
• Complete material takeoffs and procurement logs.
• Coordinate with jobsite install teams.
• Track vendor/subcontractor schedules.
• Coordinate with fabrication shop for production handoffs and RFIs.
• Gather and submit project closeout documentation.
• Support and interact with internal and external team members.
• Seek opportunities for leadership roles within internal teams to foster growth.

Required Skills and Abilities include excellent communication, willingness to learn, collaboration skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and BlueBeam, with Revit or AutoCAD and Procore experience as pluses. A strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential.

Educational requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant construction experience.

Physical requirements involve prolonged sitting and the ability to lift up to 15 pounds if needed.
