Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead the successful execution of complex electrical infrastructure projects within the data center industry. This remote-based role requires a technically proficient and detail-oriented professional with a strong electrical engineering background and hands-on experience managing power infrastructure projects for hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the technical lead for large-scale electrical infrastructure projects from concept through commissioning.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, sales, product development, and manufacturing) and external stakeholders (clients, consultants, contractors) to deliver solutions that meet client specifications and project timelines.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, and schematics to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Provide oversight on product customization, system integration, and onsite installations to ensure project deliverables are met.
• Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to value engineering efforts.
• Support the sales and applications engineering teams with technical input during pre-sales and proposal stages.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and internal quality standards.
• Conduct factory witness tests (FATs), site acceptance tests (SATs), and provide technical support during commissioning.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry codes, standards, and emerging technologies relevant to power systems and data centers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical project engineering, with at least 3 years focused on the data center market.
• Deep understanding of data center electrical infrastructure including UPS, PDUs, switchgear, and power distribution systems.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams to manage and deliver technical projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for site visits and customer meetings.
