Job summary

Client seeks an experienced Project Manager with a strong construction scheduling background to support large-scale utility projects. This role oversees project schedules, integrates vendor schedules into a master project schedule, ensures schedule compliance, and drives accountability across external vendor partners.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Primavera P6, construction project scheduling, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• 5 years of project scheduling or project management experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
• Experience integrating and managing large-scale project schedules.
• Proficiency with SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel reporting skills.
• Experience using Business Objects reporting tools.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and enforce schedule accountability.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving project schedules from contractors/vendors.
• Reviewing schedules for accuracy and completeness.
• Combining multiple vendor schedules into one master project schedule.
• Tracking progress and identifying delays or schedule risks.
• Meeting with vendors to discuss missed dates or poor schedule performance. Escalating schedule issues and communicating impacts to internal stakeholders.
• Maintaining reports and dashboards in Primavera P6, Excel, SAP, and Business Objects.
• Monitoring vendor resources and crew availability to ensure work can stay on schedule.
