Project Engineer – Land Development (Civil Site Design)

Salary Range: $85,000 – $110,000 annually

Their services span civil engineering, construction, environmental, planning, landscape architecture, and surveying. We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their Land Development (Civil Site Design) team in the Southeast Region. This role provides the opportunity to work on healthcare-focused civil land development projects that make a meaningful impact on communities. This position is ideal for a motivated civil engineer who enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to sustainable, innovative site design solutions within a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Project Managers on client communication and coordination
  • Develop site plans for healthcare-related land development projects
  • Assist project teams in securing civil and environmental permits
  • Prepare construction documents and engineering calculations
  • Coordinate with municipal review agencies to obtain permit approvals
  • Participate in project design meetings, client meetings, and charrette sessions
  • Collaborate with landscape architecture teams on amenity and site features
  • Support and oversee construction administration activities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years of land development experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
