Job summary

Hires Group, on behalf of an award-winning engineering firm, seeks a Civil/Site Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, permitting, and construction for land development and infrastructure projects.

You will develop layouts, grading plans, utilities, and stormwater designs, oversee permitting across agencies, and manage scopes, schedules, and budgets while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of civil/site project management experience.
• Experience in business development is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/site development and land-development projects from planning to permitting.
• Develop site layouts, grading plans, utilities, and stormwater designs with documentation.
• Oversee permitting with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Manage scopes, schedules, budgets, contracts, and quality control.
• Lead meetings with clients and design teams and present technical findings.
• Mentor and direct engineering staff.

As a Civil/Site Project Manager, you'll lead multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, permitting, and construction for land development and linear infrastructure projects.

The job:

• Lead and deliver civil/site development and land-development projects, from early planning and feasibility through final design and permitting
• Develop site layouts, grading plans, utility designs, stormwater systems, and complete technical documentation
• Oversee permitting efforts across local, state, and federal agencies
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, contracts, and quality control throughout all phases of project delivery
• Participate in client, regulatory, and design-team meetings, clearly presenting technical findings, design recommendations, and project strategies
• Mentor and direct engineering staff
