Qualifications

• Three or more years of bookkeeping or accounting operations experience.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Strong understanding of accrual-based bookkeeping principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to organize and reconcile high volumes of transactions.

Responsibilities

• Record and classify financial transactions accurately and consistently.
• Maintain the general ledger and supporting records.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards; investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare recurring bookkeeping reports for management review.
• Support accounts payable/receivable and project accounting activities.
• Help with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
