- Lead cross-functional project teams including engineers, project managers, and technical specialists
- Deliver complex energy infrastructure projects across natural gas, liquids, and power systems
- Guide multidisciplinary teams through design and delivery of processing plants, compressor stations, pipelines, meter stations, and power generation units
- Develop and oversee multi-year departmental budgets
- Ensure accurate forecasting, financial transparency, and cost and schedule controls
- Oversee creation, review, and approval of detailed technical project documentation
- Evaluate technical alternatives and identify project risks
- Conduct in-depth analyses to support decision-making and innovation
- Communicate project milestones, risks, and strategic updates to senior leadership
- Implement scalable work processes, tools, and procedures
- Build partnerships with contractors, producers, and customers
- Provide strategic oversight to multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum of seven (7) years in engineering, project controls, commercial development operations and/or project management within the oil and gas industry
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Proficiency in project scheduling and resource planning using Microsoft Project, Primavera, and Oracle Applications
- Advanced analytical skills for forecasting project volumes, assessing performance metrics, and supporting data-driven decision-making
- Strong grasp of DOT design standards
- Experience leading complex engineering programs and multidisciplinary teams
- May be required to travel up to 25%
- PE license and/or PMP certification preferred
- Master's degree and five years of relevant experience preferred
