EnerSys is seeking a Project Design Engineer to design, engineer, and cost large power construction projects. You will create designs for technically complex projects, support construction, and act as SME for technical issues, guiding sales and estimation teams on pricing and solutions.

You will work with equipment vendors to ensure specifications, perform reliability calculations, and help deliver on-time, within-budget installations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Formación

• BS degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical) or similar technical field from an accredited university.
• Experience in critical power including protected DC power and AC power systems.
• Experience in project management and operations culture.
• Experience working with professional engineers and architects.

Responsabilidades

• Quote and execute successful field projects within critical facilities environment including oversight and direction of design and estimation deliverables from team members.
• Coach team members, such as estimators, project managers, and sales, in technical matters.
• Develop and refine tools and processes to improve team efficiency and accuracy.
• Generate, read, interpret, and explain RFQ’s, SOW’s, drawings to guide the creation of solutions, estimates, and other documents.
• Manage change control and implement approved changes.
• Assist in the delivery of close-out documentation to clients in a timely manner.
