Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Project Data Analytics Solutions Manager to lead data, reporting, analytics, automation, and self-service solutions for Project Accounting. You will partner with leaders to translate needs into practical solutions and improve access to timely financial information.

You will oversee dashboards, data quality controls, training, and adoption of analytics across Finance, IT, and operations. Strong Power BI and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related discipline preferred, or equivalent.
• Significant experience in project accounting, financial operations, billing, project controls, financial reporting, BI/data analytics.
• Ability to translate complex needs into practical reporting, analytics, automation, or technology solutions.
• Advanced Power BI with data modeling, DAX, Power Query, KPI development, dashboards, and financial reporting.
• Experience with data validation, reconciliations, and testing of business scenarios.
• Strong communication, planning, organization, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation.
• Experience developing training and user-adoption of reports/tools.
• Deltek Vantagepoint or similar ERP experience; project industry exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and support of Project Accounting dashboards, reports, analytics, and self-service data capabilities.
• Define business requirements, data definitions, metrics, and drill-through needs for reporting.
• Build and maintain reliable data models and controls; ensure data quality and validations.
• Identify root causes of data-quality issues and implement sustainable fixes.
• Collaborate with IT, data engineering, operations, and finance to deliver solutions.
• Coordinate integration, user acceptance, and testing activities.
• Identify automation opportunities using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Excel and AI tools.
• Develop training, job aids, documentation, and ongoing user support.
• Gather enhancement requests and manage a solution roadmap; monitor adoption.
• Create standardized reporting packages and monthly/quarterly/annual outputs.
• Stay current on data-visualization best practices and optimize dashboards.
