Job summary

FCC Construcción is seeking a Cost Control Engineer in the United States to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for construction projects. The role involves developing cost estimates, tracking expenditures, and providing detailed cost analysis to ensure projects stay within budget.

Work closely with project teams and the Cost Control Manager to update forecasts, analyze financial performance, and support risk mitigation, with regular reporting on cost status and variances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 3–5 years of cost/estimating or financial management experience in construction.
• Experience with cost management software is preferred.
• Strong ability to analyze cost data and provide financial insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cost control for projects.
• Review invoices, perform cost-to-date analyses, and track expenses.
• Prepare monthly cost control reports and participate in meetings.
• Update forecasts to reflect current cost and estimates.
• Assess cost implications of change orders and ensure proper approvals.
• Ensure documentation and filing of all cost-related records.
