Holder Construction in Herndon, VA is seeking a Cost Controller/Project Controls professional to lead project cost projections, forecast accuracy, and change management across construction initiatives. You will coordinate with MEP subcontractors and internal teams to ensure timely owner invoicing and compliant reporting.

The role emphasizes robust cash flow oversight, document control, KPI tracking, and development of workflows for RFIs, Submittals, Material Status, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Up to 5 years of commercial construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry practices, codes, regulations, and standards.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and computer skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on project cost projections and forecasting with MEP subcontractors.
• Support internal and external cash flow management for the project.
• Ensure timely owner billing and establish review processes.
• Oversee submission of changes and compliance with prime contracts.
• Establish workflows for RFIs, Submittals, Material Status, Design Management, Risk Management, Quality, and Closeout.
• Monitor KPIs and aging for change management backlog.
• Assist with document control for drawings, correspondence, and specifications.
• Generate deliverables meeting prime contract reporting requirements and ensure timely submission.
