The role partners with project managers to maintain financial control and support project success. Responsibilities include budget development, cost tracking of labor/materials/subcontractors, variance analysis, invoicing, WIP schedules, and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• MBA or related master’s degree preferred.
• CPA or CCIFP designation is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in cost accounting or project accounting; construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain detailed project budgets and ensure alignment with financial goals.
• Monitor and track project expenses, including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights to address issues promptly.
• Prepare and process client invoices and subcontractor pay applications; ensure contract compliance.
• Generate and maintain detailed financial reports, including job cost summaries and WIP schedules.
• Ensure all financial transactions comply with policies and maintain organized records for audits.
