Project Coordinator, Low Voltage position with New Era Technology is a Contract Role, expected to last 6 months possibly longer. At this time, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Planning and Scheduling : Plan and schedule project work orders based on priorities and resource availability. Coordinate with vendors, onsite contacts, and other trades as necessary to ensure project timelines are met. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources and resolve conflicts. Review work orders and ensure all necessary information is available.
  • Progress Tracking and Documentation : Track and close-out work order tickets promptly upon completion, ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded. Submit completed work orders for billing promptly, ensuring all billing requirements are met. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to work orders.
  • Monitoring and Communication : Monitor and evaluate the performance of work orders, maintaining accountability for meeting response-time targets and delivering quality service. Communicate proactively with customers, provide regular status updates, requested deliverables, and confirm successful completion for each work order.
  • Adherence to SLAs and Performance Metrics: Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and accountability to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), meeting established benchmarks for response times, quality, and project deliverables.
  • Quality and Compliance : Ensure compliance with quality standards and operational procedures. Provide guidance and support to team members involved in executing work orders. Ensure detailed checklists for deliverables are followed. Validate each task is completed thoroughly and meets quality standards. Conduct thorough reviews of submitted work. Verify accuracy, consistency, and adherence to guidelines.

  • Team Stewardship : Peer accountability skills to coordinate and motivate teammates. Ability to provide guidance and support to team members. Experience in engaging cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Project Management Skills : Proficiency in project management methodologies and process improvement techniques. Ability to plan, schedule, and monitor work orders and tasks. Competence in using project management software.
  • Attention to Detail : High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in execution. Ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks. Ensuring quality control measures are in place and followed.
  • Adaptability : Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Flexibility to handle unexpected challenges and changes in the work environment. Capability to manage change and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Education & Experience Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and basic familiarity with project management tools.
Preferred Education & Experience Required:
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • 1 - 2 years of Project Coordination experience is required.
  • Experience coordinating projects involving low voltage is preferred.

Expected Hours of Work: Full Time, 40 hours per week, plus overtime as needed.

Travel: Travel expectation is up to 5%.

PAY: $25 - $27/ an hour depending upon experience.
