Job summary

E2 Consulting Engineers, LP, in Southern California, seeks a Project Specialist I to support the Project Manager and project staff in bringing projects into construction and documenting them accurately.

You will help track design progress, coordinate documents, manage meetings, and assist with budgets, invoices, and deliverables, while balancing priorities and traveling to Southern California job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
• Gas/utilities/pipeline experience preferred.
• Must have good writing skills and follow established standards.
• Must travel to job sites around Southern California.
• Knowledge of SAP desirable.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in maintaining project logs and records.
• Support design efforts and monitor project progress to meet schedule.
• Resolve issues to support the project schedule.
• Track designs, materials, and permits to support construction on schedule.
• Assist with meetings, agendas, minutes, and action items.
• Coordinate document revisions and distribution.
• Support tracking of deliverables and budget, labor hours, and procurements.
• Assist PM with daily tasks, creating presentations, and maintaining documentation.
