Job summary

Blach Construction Company is seeking an Entry-level Project Engineer to support project documentation, coordination, and communication across project teams in Southern California. You will assist the Project Manager and interact with Architects, Subcontractors, Clients, and Inspectors to resolve issues and ensure quality, safety, schedule and cost targets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate required project documentation with the project team.
• Review drawings and specs to learn all aspects of the project.
• Coordinate bid packages and subcontract processes with PM and Superintendents.
• Assist with site logistics, safety, and QA/QC to meet project goals.
• Maintain project records and archiving; support close-out activities.
