Assists and supports Project Managers in coordinating the activities of construction projects to ensure cost, schedules, and quality standards are met. Exercises independent judgment related to the day-to-day administration of projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and monitor project activities, assisting Project Managers to ensure effective communication with consultants, coordinating team meetings, completing contract documents, and reviewing pay applications from consultants and contractors.
- Manage document control and distribution, including reviewing, analyzing, and understanding each document such as RFI, submittals, contract documents, reports, and punch list management.
- Develop construction project schedules using Critical Path Management techniques and project management software.
- Obtain and provide pricing for cost estimates using standard practices.
- Coordinate project activities, draft agendas, attend meetings, and prepare minutes. Verify submittal conformance to specifications.
- Maintain current project insurance and bond documentation.
- Monitor and control project budgets and expenditures.
- Maintain accurate project files.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Departments, Architects, Engineers, and Contractors to meet project timelines.
- Monitor punch list items for timely completion.
- Prepare daily and monthly reports.
- Maintain and update project plans and specifications.
- Obtain necessary permits and inspections from government agencies.
- Perform other duties related to Facilities Management operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher + three (3) years of project facilitation experience in construction or architectural industry handling public and commercial projects. Major coursework in architecture, engineering, or construction sciences preferred.
- OR High School Diploma or GED + five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Valid Texas driver license required.
- Knowledge of construction principles, techniques, and procedures preferred.
- Proficiency in computer software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and project scheduling applications.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and evaluative skills.
- Experience with Critical Path Method and Gantt Chart scheduling preferred.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
