We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support the delivery of electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure and building decarbonization projects. In this role, you’ll work closely with Project Managers and internal leadership to keep projects moving smoothly from early feasibility through installation, energization, and closeout.
You’ll be a central point of coordination between internal teams, utilities, engineering partners, municipalities, subcontractors, vendors, and site hosts. The role is heavily documentation‑and process‑oriented, with a strong emphasis on timelines, compliance, and clear communication.
If your peers or colleagues describe you as organized, detail‑oriented, proactive, and someone who “never lets things fall through the cracks,” we want to hear from you.
We develop and deliver EV charging infrastructure and electrification solutions that support cleaner transportation and lower‑carbon buildings. Our work helps organizations navigate the complexity of planning, permitting, utility coordination, incentives, and construction so that climate‑friendly projects become reality.
We collaborate with utilities, municipalities, contractors, and site hosts to reduce emissions, modernize infrastructure, and accelerate the transition to a more sustainable energy system.
Location: Remote-first. Most team members work from home‑based offices. We also have access to a coworking space at Roxbury Community College for in‑person collaboration. The majority of work performed in this role will be conducted within Massachusetts due to deployment, regulatory, and licensing requirements. This role may involve occasional travel for site visits, customer meetings, events, or conferences, primarily within the Northeastern United States. These events may occasionally fall outside of typical business hours. Travel expectations will be discussed in advance, and reasonable accommodations will be made where possible. Core collaboration hours are aligned with the Eastern Time Zone.
Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree welcome but not required. We value hands‑on experience, transferable skills, and lived experience as much as formal education.
Approximately 2–5 years of experience in project coordination, construction administration, infrastructure delivery, or energy‑related programs (or equivalent experience). Recent graduates with internship or cooperative learning experience are encouraged to apply, as are career changers and seasoned professionals.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
You’ll operate with high accountability and autonomy while collaborating closely with Project Managers and leadership.
We know that talented candidates, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds may hesitate to apply if they don’t meet EVERY. SINGLE. QUALIFICATION. If the prospect of working with us excites you and you believe you can learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully, we encourage you to apply.
We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to building a diverse, inclusive team. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations throughout the hiring process and in the workplace. If you require an accommodation to apply for or perform this role, please let us know at hello@bt2energy.com .
