Job summary

BT2 Energy is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the delivery of EV charging infrastructure and building decarbonization projects. You will collaborate with Project Managers and leadership to drive projects from feasibility through energization and closeout.

The role focuses on documentation, timelines, compliance, and clear communication with utilities, engineering partners, municipalities, and subcontractors. Strong organizational skills and proactive problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in a related field; Bachelor’s degree welcome but not required.
• 2–5 years of experience in project coordination, construction administration, infrastructure delivery, or energy-related programs (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with project documentation, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EV charging and electrification projects from site feasibility through installation and commissioning.
• Track project milestones including site assessments, design development, permitting, procurement, construction, and energization.
• Maintain project schedules, task lists, and status updates using project management tools.
• Assist with utility applications for new electrical service or service upgrades and coordinate with utility representatives.
• Prepare and submit permit applications and track inspections and close-out documentation.
• Support incentive programs and grant applications, tracking milestones and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, electricians, vendors, and subcontractors on scheduling and communications.
• Facilitate subcontractor documentation and contract administration, including COIs, licenses, and credentials.
• Maintain organized project files and prepare internal status reports and reimbursement documentation.
