Job summary

Lambert’s Cable Splicing Co. is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist the project manager with managing projects.

You will develop and maintain project documentation, track progress, and coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and timely completion. The role emphasizes PM knowledge, problem solving, and independent work with a strong foundation in MS Office and PMI lifecycle concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
• 2–5 years of experience delivering OSP Telecommunications or utility projects
• CAPM or PMP certification is preferred
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Project) and PMI lifecycle knowledge

Responsibilities

• Prepare and provide timely reports using KPIs to monitor project health
• Develop and maintain project documentation and program files
• Coordinate with customers to obtain project-specific information
• Close out projects per company standards
• Track weekly accruals and report them
• Schedule work and crew makeups with schedulers for internal and external use
• Review subcontractor invoices for accuracy and production
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable and Billing to ensure revenue accuracy
• Forecast monthly and yearly project and program needs
• Create purchase orders and set up projects in the accounting system
• Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to keep projects on track
• Lead status reporting to all stakeholders
