Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Company, LLC is seeking a Project Assistant to support the project manager in delivering successful telecommunications projects. You will generate meaningful reports, maintain project documentation, and manage file systems to keep programs organized.

You will also coordinate with customers, assist with invoices and procurement, and help forecast monthly and yearly project activity. This role emphasizes teamwork and严谨 execution to ensure quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an industry related field or combination of education and experience.
• 2–5 years of experience delivering OSP Telecommunications services or utility industry.
• CAPM or PMP certification preferred.
• Problem solver and critical thinker.
• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, Access, Project.
• Understand the project life cycle per PMI.
• Ability to apply PM concepts and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful and timely reports using KPIs to help manage project health.
• Develop, maintain and update project documentation.
• Maintain program file system (physical and electronic).
• Contact customers to obtain project information.
• Complete project close-out per company standards.
• Track accruals weekly and submit weekly.
• Schedule work and crew makeups with scheduler for internal/external use.
• Review invoices from subcontractors for production and accounting accuracy.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and Billing to ensure revenue is correct.
• Forecast monthly and yearly for each project/program.
• Create purchase orders.
• Set up projects in the accounting system with internal support groups.
• Remove obstacles to empower Operations to succeed.
• Monitor project progress, risk, and customer experience quality.
• Lead status gathering for reporting to stakeholders.
