Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG), a Foundation Building Materials company, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Team by planning, coordinating, and tracking all aspects of assigned projects. Strong organization and communication skills are essential to ensure smooth execution and uphold UDHG’s commitment to excellence in the building products industry.

• Associate degree or trade school related to project management.
• 1–2 years as Project Assistant in the door and hardware industry or related.
• Strong competency in computer software and project knowledge.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to organize multiple projects; well organized with planning and coordination.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with creation of short and long-term goals and strategies.
• Manage all project communications, generating appropriate correspondence to facilitate a well-documented project while ensuring timely responses.
• Maintain project file with key milestones and status.
• Assist with review and markup of project contracts as required.
• Maintain existing relationships with vendors and customers.
• Identify door swings, frame elevations, jamb profiles, wall types, and hardware information from architectural drawings.
• Read, analyze, and understand hardware, wood door, and hollow metal specifications to effectively create, update, or coordinate related submittals including literature for architect review.
• Ensures that Engineering functions are completed in accordance with established production and contract scope requirements.
