Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG) is seeking a Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and manage all facets of projects from initiation to final payment. You will ensure hardware schedules, shop drawings, and contract requirements are executed accurately, focusing on quality, cost control, delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Operations, mentor junior staff, and serve as a key liaison with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required or equivalent work experience.
• PM experience in construction/doors/hardware preferred.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, specifications, and industry standards.
• Experience with business development is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Attention to detail and quality orientation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and oversight of hardware schedules aligned with project specifications and contractual requirements.
• Direct and review the preparation of shop drawings for wood doors and hollow metal systems.
• Interpret architectural specifications related to doors, frames, and hardware; guide internal teams.
• Contribute to budgets, billing, and cost control decisions.
• Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers on projects.
• Provide technical oversight of architectural drawings and hardware requirements.
• Review submittals and manage change order processes for profitability.
• Monitor alignment of engineering and production with scope and timelines.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to maintain schedules.
• Support manufacturing-related issues and inform management of risks and issues.
• Serve as primary point of contact for customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond to inquiries promptly and maintain supplier relationships.
• Perform other duties to support PM and corporate objectives.
