Job summary

Almac Group is seeking a Project Coordinator, Distribution to support the Souderton, PA site. You will gather customer information, translate it into operational distribution documents, and assist the Lead with all distribution tasks across ACS sites.

The role involves creating clear shipment instructions, coordinating with Quality, Warehouse, and Logistics, and establishing COSMOS distribution protocols to ensure accurate setup for autoship, returns, and JIT activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ months customer and/or community service experience or an Associate degree with 2+ years’ work experience or HS/GED with 4+ years’ work experience.
• Pharmaceutical or clinical supplies industry experience preferred.
• Project management experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical trials and the pharmaceutical industry, knowledge of the contract packaging industry, or knowledge of logistics/supply chain management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather and interpret project-related customer-supplied information, defining requirements and generating associated documentation to support operational distribution staff in the shipment of finished goods, components, and ancillary materials.
• Generate clear written instructions for the distribution and return, if applicable, of materials, ensuring full compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice.
• Advise the Project Distribution Lead of any issues or delays arising through the course of the project, escalating to the Project Team or Project Group Manager as appropriate.
• Work with internal departments to resolve issues, including Quality, Warehouse, Logistics, Import Services, and Temperature Services.
• Establish distribution protocols in COSMOS to ensure accurate and complete set up of all items, Autoship, Depots, Returns, JIT, and distribution related activities.

Almac Group is currently seeking a Project Coordinator, Distributionto join our Souderton, PA team. The Project Distribution Coordinator main objective is to support the Project Distribution Lead by gathering, interpreting, and clarifying customer supplied information and transforming it into operational documents required for successful delivery of clinical material distribution. The Coordinator will assist the Lead with all tasks associated with distribution at any Almac Clinical Services site. The principal function of the project services department is the day-to-day management of all customers across any Almac Clinical Services (ACS) site.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Generate clear written instructions for the distribution and return, if applicable, of materials, ensuring full compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice.

• Provide timely information/documentation required for themanagement of the materials required for upcoming shipments.This includes receipt of customer supplied materials, Almac suppliedmaterials, RI management, lot release activities and IRT set ups sothat request for shipment are successfully dispatched.
• Advise the Project Distribution Lead of any issues or delays arisingthroughout the course of the project, escalating to the Project Teamor Project Group Manager as appropriate. Work with internaldepartments to resolve issues, including Quality, Warehouse,Logistics, Import Services, and Temperature Services.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED and equivalent work experience required

• Customer service knowledge

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or business related field preferred
• Pharmaceutical or clinical supplies industry experience.
• Project management experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
• Knowledge of clinical trials and the pharmaceutical industry, knowledge of the contract packaging industry, or knowledge of logistics/supply chain management
• Knowledge of the packaging and distribution of clinical trial medication highly preferred
