Almac Group is seeking a Shipping Coordinator in Durham, NC to manage and optimize the flow of customer and internal shipping requests. You will collaborate with Distribution Technicians, verify project orders in COSMOS, and coordinate with couriers to ensure timely shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years in a warehouse setting and knowledge of basic warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years' experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Basic Warehouse Operations; receiving, shipping, material handling, inventory control, housekeeping, and safety.
• Preferred knowledge: International and Domestic shipping requirements, working in a cGMP environment.

Almac Group is currently seeking a shipping coordinator for our Durham, NC location. The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for processing and coordinating the workflow of customer and internal shipping requests.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist in coordinating the daily work flow amongst the Distribution Technicians and the Sr. Distribution Technicians.
• Perform 2nd check of all Project orders in the COSMOS distribution system.
• Coordinate with couriers to ensure proper shipping documentation is in place and timely delivery of domestic and international shipments.
• Help resolve discrepancies regarding customer shipping requests, inventory issues, and pack outs.
• Maintain adequate levels of inventory for temperature recording devices.

Qualifications:

Required Education

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education

Undergraduate degree

Required Work Experience

3+ years' experience in a distribution or warehouse environment

Preferred experience

Pharmaceutical experience, Distribution experience

Required Knowledge

Basic Warehouse Operations; receiving, shipping, material handling, inventory control, housekeeping, and safety.

Preferred Knowledge

International and Domestic shipping requirements, Working in a cGMP Environment
