Job summary

Almac Group is seeking a Sr. Distribution Technician for its Souderton, PA location to verify and pack clinical site orders. This role handles shipments under Refrigerated, Frozen and Ambient conditions with a 2nd shift (3pm–11pm) and a 10% shift differential.

Responsibilities include packing orders per protocols, verifying documents, generating ship labels, and coordinating with QA, Distribution and Logistics. Requires a High School diploma or GED and 1+ year distribution/warehouse experience.

• Interact with Quality, Distribution and Logistics to address quality issues.
• Possess a thorough understanding of departmental SOPs.

Almac Group is currently seeking a Sr. Distribution Technician for our Souderton, Pennsylvania location. The Sr. Distribution Technician is responsible for verifying and packing clinical site orders. Order processing is limited to the following types of shipments:

Cold Chain

2nd shift (3pm - 11pm) With a 10% shift differential

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Pack customer orders based on customer specific protocols and their specific Distribution Instruction within Refrigerated (2-8°C) Frozen (-20°C) and Ambient (15-25°C) conditions
• Perform verification checks of documents and clinical material prior to distribution from Almac Clinical Services
• Review documents for clarity, correctness, completeness and compliance
• Generate UPS and FedEx shipper address labels
• Interact with Quality, Distribution and Logistics personnel to address quality issues
• Possess a thorough understanding of departmental SOPs

Required Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Required Work Experience

• 1+ years’ experience in a distribution/warehouse environment or relevant job experience/education
