Responsibilities include leading packaging rooms, organizing layout, and ensuring batch records and dispatch readiness, with emphasis on meeting customer target dates. Familiarity with SOPs and cGMP, plus at least one year of experience, is required; a two-year degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Some pharmaceutical packaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging rooms and supervise operators.
• Organize production layout for efficient, compliant processing.
• Package materials per batch documents and SOPs/cGMP.
• Reconcile materials/labels and return materials to warehouse.
• Maintain on-time batch dispatch and complete batch records.
• Ensure operators work efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Handle special projects as assigned by supervisors.

Almac Group is currently seeking a Production Coordinator - 2nd Shift, for our Durham, NC location. The Production Coordinator will oversee production personnel, perform, and inspect operations at Almac Clinical Services relevant to the packaging area ensuring that quality is maintained in products for the safety, well being, and protection of the patient.

Working Hours: 3:30PM - 11:30PM

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Accept and perform leadership role while in packaging rooms.
• Organize layout of production operations to ensure efficient and secure processing relative to the written requirements.
• Package material as detailed in the batch document while in accordance with Almac Clinical Services SOP’s and cGMP’s.
• Perform reconciliation of material/labels used during an operation and ensure all material is returned to the warehouse upon job completion.
• Maintain operational efficiency to ensure scheduled customer target dates are met and that batch records are completed properly for dispatch at completion of job operation.
• Ensure operators are working efficiently while maintaining quality within the product.
• Undertake additional duties of specific projects designated by supervisory/management staff, in conjunction with normal Production Coordinator duties.

Qualifications:

Required Experience / Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of one year working experience.

Preferred Experience / Education:

• 2 year Degree preferred.
• Some pharmaceutical packaging experience preferred.
